The UK’s annual Q Awards were held earlier today (October 22) in London. This year, Q magazine honored a host of British acts, with a few Americans thrown in for good measure. The dramatic title of Best Act In The World Today was bestowed upon the equally dramatic rockers Muse, and Britpop reigned with Pulp and Blur taking home some hardware. Meanwhile, our Scottish pal Emeli Sande took home Best Solo Artist. But we Yanks didn’t come home empty-handed: The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers was among the Americans receiving honors.
