Train premiered the music video for “Bruises,” their call-and-response collaboration with country singer Ashley Monroe, of the trio Pistol Annies. Monroe also appears in the video, but she and Train singer Pat Monahan never actually appear onscreen together, heightening the song’s sense of faded love. ”Bruises” is the third single off Train’s album California 37, and the band is nominated for a 2012 American Music Award in the Adult Contemporary Music category.
