Like a veritable coven, three came together last night to host a screening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 — the Cinema Society, The Hollywood Reporter and Samsung Galaxy. The last film in the Twilight series may not have been up for the Palme d'Or at Cannes, but it is a fitting finale for the teen dream series filled with love, lust, action (of all kinds) and pretty people to spare. While the lead pretty people of Breaking Dawn Part 2 were in Madrid for the film's Spanish premiere (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, among them) a number of the cast represented in NYC, including Ashley Greene (stunning in Donna Karan), Dakota Fanning (in Valentino), Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Maggie Grace and the lovely and youngest in a very young cast, Mackenzie Foy (who plays Renesme). Some non-immortals (but no less pretty) like Olivier Theyskens, Michelle Dockery, Jason Wu and Jennifer Esposito were also in attendance at the Sunshine Theater on the Lower East Side and the fittingly named Finale for an after-party sponsored by Grey Goose where they embraced the evening's fun kitsch and sipped on cocktails named Cherry Moon and Red Twilight.
