Olivia Wilde is Black and Blue in a Michael Kors Pencil Skirt

No bruises here, people. The girl with the sky-high cheekbones that even goddesses would envy is back on our skirt watch, this time donning a sophisticated yet girl-next-door look for the press conference of her latest film Third Person at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Olivia Wilde looked gorgeous as ever in a downplayed photocall outfit - you know a girl is naturally beautiful when she stands out in a plain white-tee-and-jeans outfit, or in this case, a white-tee-and-two-toned-Michael-Kors-skirt.

The Third Person star wore a Michael Kors two-toned skirt in blue-and-black panels, belted by a wide hence solidifying black elastic waistband. She paired the bold skirt with a plain white tee from Rag & Bone and a pair of Jimmy Choos - how's that for an "oh shoot, I gotta run to the office real quick" outfit? Despite the throw-on-and-go nature of her ensemble, Olivia Wilde's beautiful features were all she needed to make the entire outfit red-carpet-ready.

It seems like pencil skirts are here to stay for quite a while, as more designers take on the challenge of blurring the lines between the skirt's businesslike silhouette and casual wear. 2013 has ushered in a frenzy of fresh-cut pencil skirts, ranging from injecting various prints to draping to creative geometrical hemlines. This Michael Kors pencil skirt went for the colorblocking trend, which preserved the classic pencil cut but breathed freshness to it through bold lines and colors.

This little sportswear-inspired beauty is available at Farfetch.
