J. Mendel must love the creative trio of model Bette Franke, photographer Daniel Jackson, and stylist Alistair McKimm, because for the second consecutive season they’ve used them for their ad campaign. After seeing Spring 2013 images, it’s easy to see why J. Mendel thought this trio was worth the repeat.
“Plain studio backdrop, Daniel Jackson and Bette again – but I can't even hate because this is stunning enough to catch my attention if I was flipping through a magazine,” HeatherAnne posted. “It has an editorial quality to it, and highlights the clothes beautifully/better than most ads do these days.”
“Gorgeous! Love the dark lip,” Elfinkova commented.
As far as I’m concerned, Bette should do her makeup like that every day for the rest of her life because she looks AMAZING. Seriously, well played, J. Mendel. These ads make me want things I have no need for.
