Wear Army-Style Jackets — Follow the Lead of Fashion Bloggers

Aside from leather moto jackets, there's another way to channel a more masculine and tougher vibe in your outfits: go the army route! Yes, hunter green parka jackets and camouflage prints are making a comeback.

If you remember, they were pretty big a few seasons ago, but the interest on army style dissipated. Lately, however, it looks like the fashion industry has renewed its fascination with military-inspired outerwear, so they're back in full force!

We are totally getting inspiration from the following fashion bloggers who are also smitten with the military trend:

1. Karla from KQ S Style

It's easy to love Karla's ingenious play on the army trend. You can tell she took inspiration from it, but her look is not overly masculine. She paired her jacket with earth-tone pieces to keep the look cohesive but threw in a hat for that extra edgy look.

2. Aika from Aika's Love Closet

Aika managed to make the camo jacket look chic by wearing it with denim shorts and a layered top. It also takes good accessories to make this look work. Aika threw in a pop of red with her bag and a little Perspex with her pair of shoes.

3. Flavia from Fashion Coolture

I suspect Flavia can wear a flour sack and make it look stylish. She looks polished from head to toe in an army-style jacket and a leather ensemble.

4. Marilyn from Messages on a Napkin

Marilyn layered a floral dress over a denim one, and then capped off the look with an army-style jacket! Very clever. It works, too! It's a wonderful summer style to covet if you are feeling a tad adventurous.

5. Meri from Meri Wild

Army jackets too warm for the summer? Try army vests like what Meri is wearing in this photo. Selena Gomez recently became the face of Adidas' eponymous line, NEO. The pop star couldn't be more ecstatic about this recent stint, always tweeting about it and flaunting the newest NEO designs.

In fact, she was seen sporting a neon yellow hoodie from the said brand as she touched down in Los Angeles airport yesterday after staying in Europe for a NEO fan event.

If Selena's goal is to stay off the radar, she is failing miserably because that neon hoodie draws attention like moths to flame. Mollie King has stunned us once again with her choice of outdoor wear as she made her way to the Kiss FM studios in London on July 1.

The 26-year-old singer rocked a statement leopard-print coat over her black outfit for a radio interview. She also wore matching accessories, including her tan bag and shoes. This look was perfectly put together! Check her out:

The leopard-print design on this coat is different from the usual animal prints we see. It actually seems more minimalist. Moreover, the silhouette of this coat is quite simple, but the cropped sleeves are a stylish detail.

Michelle Trachtenberg in Several Shades of Gray

No, Michelle Trachtenberg isn't going to be cast in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. She was just literally in an all-gray ensemble. Despite this monochrome outfit, though, Michelle looks downright chic.

She could be easily mistaken for her Gossip Girl alter ego, Georgina Sparks. Who knew an all-gray ensemble could look so chic?

I can't really see if she was wearing a dress or a top and a matching hi-lo skirt, but she paired this up with a chic printed blazer. The classic blazer prevented this outfit from looking too ho-hum. Plus, it also gave Michelle a classy and business-chic aura. I think this is a look one can pull off any day, whether for work or for play.

Too bad I haven't been able to find out from which brand or label the actress' blazer is. But if you are going to achieve a similar look, you'll want to check out the following:
