Alexa Chung Stands Out with a Whimsical Chanel Milk Carton Bag

We've always loved Alexa Chung's quirky sense of fashion. This British It girl often includes quirky fashion pieces in her wardrobe and however weird they may look to others, she still pulls them off very tastefully.

At the Topshop Unique runway show for London Fashion Week, Alexa donned an adorable ensemble - a yellow turtleneck top paired with a Topshop leopard mini skirt and comfy metallic flats. While most of the ladies sitting in front row wore very serious dark-hued clothes, Alexa was such a refreshing sight with her brightly colored street-smart casual look. The mix of cute pieces made her easily standout in the crowd of snobbish black-wearing fashionistas.

To cap of her fun LFW ensemble, the socialite carried a Chanel "Milk Carton" purse from the brand's "Supermarket Collection", where whimsical pieces inspired by your typical grocery items were showcased. These limited edition purses are extremely expensive, with prices going up to $10,000! While we may never be able to afford (or actually pull off wearing) these quirky Chanel purses, we always enjoy seeing them being carried by celebs like Alexa, who seems like the perfect canvas for fun and whimsical fashion pieces.

Nicola Peltz in Balenciaga at the New York Premiere of Transformers: Age of Extinction

Nicola Peltz looked stunning at the New York premiere of Transformers: Age of Extinction. The newcomer was dressed in a gorgeous Balenciaga strapless gown that featured a textured ribbed effect and a glossy, shimmering finish.

From the front, the blue frock looks like a typical gown but the back part has a surprising detail that adds boldness to the otherwise plain look. Nicola kept the styling very simple, foregoing the bold necklace and opting for just a couple of rings. She kept her blonde tresses down, styled with casually loose waves.

While the young actress' movie premiere look was good, it was not as outstanding as we would like it to be. We have yet to see 19-year-old newcomer in an impressive ensemble. However, we love the color of her Balenciaga gown. Dark shades of blue are always an elegant choice for formal affairs.

When we think of Lulu Guinness, the words quirky, playful, fun, and unique always come to mind - qualities that are the handbag designer's trademark. So, just imagine how a Lulu Guinness party would look like; it will literally be filled with women sporting her iconic Lips clutch!

That's exactly what happened the other day when the designer had a Paint Project party at the Old Sorting Office in London. Guests attended the event in their fresh and fabulous outfits paired with Lulu Guinness bags of their choice. As expected, we saw a lot of Lips clutches, but what made the gathering more interesting were the other (non-Lips) Lulu Guinness bags we spotted.

Last but not the least was Ophelia Lovibond, who turned our heads with her “Eye” clutch. Yes, now that Lulu Guinness has made “lips” happen, she’s moving on to the “eye,” for example, the new Eye clutch (which also comes in other colors).
