Alexa Chung Stands Out with a Whimsical Chanel Milk Carton Bag

We've always loved Alexa Chung's quirky sense of fashion. This British It girl often includes quirky fashion pieces in her wardrobe and however weird they may look to others, she still pulls them off very tastefully.

At the Topshop Unique runway show for London Fashion Week, Alexa donned an adorable ensemble - a yellow turtleneck top paired with a Topshop leopard mini skirt and comfy metallic flats. While most of the ladies sitting in front row wore very serious dark-hued clothes, Alexa was such a refreshing sight with her brightly colored street-smart casual look. The mix of cute pieces made her easily standout in the crowd of snobbish black-wearing fashionistas.

To cap of her fun LFW ensemble, the socialite carried a Chanel "Milk Carton" purse from the brand's "Supermarket Collection", where whimsical pieces inspired by your typical grocery items were showcased. These limited edition purses are extremely expensive, with prices going up to $10,000! While we may never be able to afford (or actually pull off wearing) these quirky Chanel purses, we always enjoy seeing them being carried by celebs like Alexa, who seems like the perfect canvas for fun and whimsical fashion pieces.

Marc Jacobs’ Surplus Alligator Bag is $40,000, Too Much?

Having left the Louis Vuitton label to focus on his own brand, Marc Jacobs brought out all of his guns to create his Spring 2015 Collection, which was filled with military-inspired pieces with utilitarian details and edgy cuts. One of the more notable pieces from this collection is the Surplus Plus Bag done in luscious alligator skin leather.

The hobo shoulder bag is effortlessly elegant with its textured exotic leather and classic colors. This particular style will be sure to upgrade any outfit from drab to fab, but that's if you are willing to splurge on a five-figure handbag. With a price tag of $40,000, this Marc Jacobs alligator purse is surely one of the most expensive designer purses we have seen this year.

There's no question about Marc Jacobs' style prowess and ability to create wonderful pieces of clothes, handbags and shoes. To back it up, he even ensures a great runway show with each collection launch. However, this latest purse might be pushing too much. Not everyone can afford ludicrously priced purses, after all.

Street Style Crush: Rihanna in White Boxy Shirt and Hot Pants

Stepping out into the busy streets of London yesterday was Rihanna. The trend-setting pop star was there for her Diamond World Tour and the fans and paparazzis gathered around the hotel entrance were only too happy to catch a glimpse of her.

We were totally expecting RiRi to wear something bright, dramatic and festive to fit the occasion but the outfit she walked out of the hotel in threw us off guard.

She was sporting a white-on-white ensemble, so fresh it totally left a clean feeling in our mouths. The pop star had on a white boxy shirt with a zipper accent on the upper right side. She let her shirt hang untucked over her pair of hot pants.

Until now, I still marvel at the ability of boxy shirts to elevate a casual ensemble into super chic status. It's just the right top to pick if you are feeling in the mood to dress up but don't want to go out of your way.

And then there's Rihanna's choice of accessories. We love the edgy vibe that leather visor added to the white-on-white pairing.

RiRi chose this ensemble to go all out in accessories. The chunky chain necklace was a nice touch and would have been our choice of accessory for this look too. But the real attention grabber is her gun-shaped earrings. It's no secret that Rihanna has a fascination for guns. For as long as she keeps this fascination contained to just accessories, there's nothing wrong with it, right?
