Sky Ferreira’s “Sad Dream” Video: Watch Her Shoot, Steal & Sulk

Sky Ferreira has premiered the music video for “Sad Dream,” the opening track from her just-released Ghost EP. If you’re expecting the synth-pop sultriness of “Everything Is Embarrassing” or the angsty crunch of “Red Lips,” well, this is from yet another section of the pop chameleon’s palette. But like those other two videos, this one features Sky’s pouty lips and puppy dog eyes staring achingly at the camera. In addition to the video, Sky unveiled a small string of tour dates, which you can see after the jump.

Directed by Grant Singer, who was behind the camera for her “Everything” clip, this video finds Ferreira and her beau living the range life - driving a pickup truck, shooting guns, stealing liquor, staying in a tacky motel room, etc. The modern western setting fits with the simply strummed song. In fact, the only thing keeping it from being a country-pop crossover is Sky’s breathy, twang-free vocal delivery.

Fashion and lifestyle website The Coveteur (which photographs extremely attractive and fashionable people in their natural — and enviable — habitats) put together "The 'Mini' Coveteurs," a short film-thing, to celebrate its redesign, a radical new face characterized by, according to WWD, "a new logo and twice the number of photos." Hashtag bombshell.

But whatever the impetus was for creating this video, I support it. At long last, we get to see Anna Dello Russo and Karl Lagerfeld and Anna Wintour and BryanBoy and etc. in child form, finally realizing fashion's greatest fantasy: aging backwards.

Nicki Minaj Coming To E! On November 4th!

Nicki Minaj recently took to her Twitter page to let all of her Barbz and Kenz know that you can catch her on her new reality show titled "My Truth" on the E! channel on November 4th. Nicki Minaj was so excited to share the news with her fans because she had just previewed her Re-Up DVD as well as the first episode of her new reality show.

The reality show (which will be three episodes long) will air on November 4th and it will focus on Nicki's personal and professional life. Nicki Minaj Announces E! Reality Series Premiering November 4

Somehow, between releasing a new music video pretty much every day, Nicki Minaj also found time to tape a reality series for E! - even if it’s only three episodes long. The “Va Va Voom” rapstress has a new show premiering November 4, which will offer an inside look at the wild, wacky world of Nicki, featuring “candid moments from her personal and professional life with never-before-seen footage,” according to Rap-Up. We’re holding our breath for a look at how long she spends in the makeup chair every day.

Madonna Talks Coming Out & Dodges Uncomfortable Questions On ‘Ellen’

Madonna has always seemed pretty fearless (even when alienating crowds who don’t share her political beliefs), but she was a little more bashful on The Ellen Degeneres Show today - or maybe she was just getting in the Halloween spirit. Whatever the reason, Madge brought a Halloween mask along with her for her appearance on Ellen, which she explained she would be using to avoid conversation topics she didn’t want to address. Of course, she also counterbalanced that modesty by lending Ellen one of her notorious corset-bras to wear.

But onto issues of greater transparency: Madonna and Degeneres also discussed the important support Madonna lent in Degeneres’ famous coming-out back in 1997. Degeneres explained that even though she had never met Madonna, when Degeneres’ sexuality was still an open secret in Hollywood, Madonna offered a phone call of encouragement.

11 Photos »“Before it was really official that I was coming out, it was rumored that I was coming out on my show,” Degeneres explained. “I had never had that much media attention, and it was really scary for me. And Madonna called me out of the blue - we had never met - I just all of a sudden get a call saying ‘It’s Madonna, and I just wanna say that I’m behind you, I’m with you, I support you.’”

Who knew that the Queen of Pop was such a good friend? Not that we’re entirely surprised.
