As promised, I bring you the full length version of Nicki Minaj and David Guetta's video for "Turn Me On". And although the video snippet I premiered earlier this week made me think the video was going to be a movie, I am sadly disappointed with the overall visual. :-(

This was nothing like I imagined and in the end, the video left me thoroughly confused. I didn't see the point or the purpose. Nicki Minaj has released another single which is "alleged" to be material off of her upcoming album titled "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded". The new joint is titled "Marilyn Monroe" and focuses on Nicki Minaj's present insecurities and mistakes made in her past.

Nicki Minaj released some new music in the form of "Starships" which is a single off of "Pink Friday's: Roman Reloaded" which is due out in April. And if this particular single is any indication of what's to come from Nicki's new album......then I'll pass!

VIBE Magazine Calls Nicki Minaj "The Notorious K.I.N.G."

I'm sure that somewhere in Brooklyn, Lil Kim is fuming over the title that "VIBE" magazine has given her arch nemesis, Nicki Minaj. On the February/March 2012 cover of "VIBE" magazine, Nicki Minaj is crowned "The Notorious K.I.N.G.". I'm not sure if the reference has anything to do with the Notorious B.I.G. (Lil Kim's former lover), but whatever the case is, this is not going to be good!

In the new issue of "VIBE", Nicki Minaj will tell you exactly where she stands in this world of Hip Hop, her plans on taking over the fashion world, Drake and the new crop of female emcees that have emerged. VIBE: You’ve said before that you didn’t really have fun recording Pink Friday.
Nicki Minaj: I felt like I had something to prove to everyone who said a female rapper could not make an album unless she was talking about her pussy. And so I went above and beyond to prove that I could not talk about sex and not talk about my genitalia and still have a successful album. And I proved that. And now my time for proving things to my critics is over. I don’t really need to prove anything to anyone else anymore.Is it still hard to get your way as a woman in this industry?
It’s not hard to get your way when it’s your way or the highway. People either follow suit or they’re not around. I don’t really like the sound of that, ‘cause that sounds like a temper tantrum. I’m just very black and white when it comes to my business. There’s really no gray area. I really don’t have a lot of small talk with people I work with. It’s pretty much let’s get the job done. In the beginning, if people didn’t know me they’d probably assume I wasn’t smart or wasn’t business savvy. But once you sit and talk to me, it’s a different story.

You were heavy on the fashion scene last year around Fashion Week with Anna Wintour. Do you feel like you’ve been accepted by the fashion world?
Yeah, I realized more recently that even if it’s for a fashion magazine, I’m not gonna change who I am. When I was doing photo shoots last year, I kept on being told, “This is what we want your hair to look like and this is what we want you to look like,” and it really, really stifled my creativity. So the other day I was talking to a photographer, and he said, “You know what, I like your everyday looks so much better than when you do photo shoots for magazines.” And I was like, “So do I, you’re absolutely right.” I’d been getting more and more frustrated for a while.

But I’ve made up my mind that when you see a Nicki Minaj magazine cover from now on, it’s really going to reflect me and it’s going to be something that I creatively had a hand in, because I don’t have to do it anymore. I don’t have to do things just to please people. It’s okay to do what I love because what I love, my fans love. And they’re really the only ones that should matter. The fashion world will have to come to Nicki Minaj, as opposed to Nicki Minaj trying to go to the fashion world.

Wow! I'm happy that Nicki is in a place she worked so hard to get, but it sounds like she's become a very self centered individual in the process. Either way, what are your thoughts on the "VIBE" cover and the reference to Nicki being "The Notorious K.I.N.G."? I'm listening!

SNL Skit On Celebs Meeting Blue Ivy Carter!!!

If you missed out on last nights episode of "Saturday Night Live", then you missed out on a lot!! So if you did miss out, let me bring you up to speed.

There was a skit that the cast of "Saturday Night Live" performed which showed how other celebrities reacted to meeting Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. The celebs being parodied were Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, LL Cool J, Prince, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to name a few.

Birdman Says If You F**k With Drake, You're F**kin With Him!

This situation with Drake and Chris Brown has really gone above and beyond with what we would call an altercation. Whatever happened to a good ole fashioned one on one? What happened to those days? No one really knows what happened at club "WIP" last week between Chris Brown and Drake as we are getting tons of conflicting stories, but what I do know is that its going to get uglier before it gets better. And that is just #NOBUENO!

Even an interview done by MTV with Birdman ruffled my feathers because it seemed like Birdman's response was soo negative. In a recent interview with MTV and Lil Wayne, Wayne expressed his distaste for New York. And I'm thinking the main reason behind Lil Wayne's comment was because he is constantly being harassed when he comes into town. Not to mention the man served time over at Rikers, but that's another story.


Getting back to this story, New York Senator Malcolm Smith held a press conference out in Times Square, New York yesterday, demanding that Lil Wayne issue an apology for his statements and that if Lil Wayne doesn't like New York he can stop coming over here and New York could stop selling his products. Wowzers!! All of that over a comment? #IMJUSTSAYING

Nicki Minaj has released the commercial for her new fragrance aptly titled "Pink Friday". And if you ask me (and I know that you haven't) the commercial comes off as being very narcissistic, but that's just my opinion. And although I get the fact that Nicki Minaj wants to pay homage to the CD that made her what she is today, its starting to become too self absorbed for me. Again, that's just my opinion.

HHGS Rumor: Are Meek Mill & Blac Chyna Hooking Up?

As with any "HHGS Rumor" I report, I will put out my disclaimer because (1) I don't need any cease and desists coming my way and (2) I don't start the rumors, I just report them. The rumors I receive come from anonymous sources or anonymous emails and all I do is put them out there for the masses to make their own decisions on it. So on that note, let's begin with the rumor I received shall we?


I received this email from an anonymous source "alleging" that they had screen shots of direct messages sent from Meek Mill to Blac Chyna trying to link up. For those who might not know, Blac Chyna is Tyga's woman and they just recently celebrated the birth of their little boy, King Cairo. Of course you know I don't believe this rumor for the world, but when the emailer actually sent me some screen shots, I didn't know what to think.

Nicki Minaj recently took to her Twitter page to let all of her Barbz and Kenz know that you can catch her on her new reality show titled "My Truth" on the E! channel on November 4th. Nicki Minaj was so excited to share the news with her fans because she had just previewed her Re-Up DVD as well as the first episode of her new reality show.

The reality show (which will be three episodes long) will air on November 4th and it will focus on Nicki's personal and professional life.
