Just over a year ago, we spotted Kim Kardashian in a sexy white outfit while celebrating her birthday at the Tao Nightclub at The Venetian in Las Vegas. At this year's Teen Choice Awards held in Los Angeles, Shay Mitchell hit the blue carpet in an almost identical outfit. Who do you think wore it better?

1. The popular reality star sported a white lace crop top and a matching pencil skirt by Ermanno Scervino. She carried a bejeweled clutch and completed the outfit with a pair of Tom Ford chain-link ankle strap sandals.

2. Shay Mitchell sported a white sheer-hem pencil skirt with a matching lace bustier from the Misha Collection Fall 2014 collection. She carried a rose-gold Rodo Swarovski-clasp clutch and completed the outfit with a pair of Jimmy Choo heels.

Meet the Top 10 Skirt Bloggers of November 2014

Can you believe it's already December? It wasn't long when we've featured our favorite skirt outfits for October and now, we're already bidding goodbye to November through another round-up of our favorite outfits.

This month might have breezed through but it's definitely not lacking in outfits that will make you stop and take a second glance. Here are the bloggers who made it to this list:

1. Liat from Canada

Liat superbly incorporated her midi leather skirt by partnering it with a sweater and an overcoat. Just slip on a pair of thermal tights when the days are cold and this outfit can already be your go-to one.

2. Monica from Georgia

We're happy to see the mermaid skirt making a comeback after its brief stint earlier this year. Monica styled it to perfection - with a striped sweater over a button down shirt, a pair of pumps and a chain-strapped bag.

3. Cassandra from Singapore

Cassandra channeled her inner Parisian-chic in this fiery red pencil skirt that she wore with a cute fox-printed sweater. We don't know which one we covet more - her skirt or her sweater?

4. Daniela from Florida

This is how you wear florals in autumn and winter! We love the floral print of Daniela's skirt. Wearing it with a black sweater and platform peep-toe pumps also amped up the classy meter.

5. Helena from Spain

We've always though black pleated skirts are classy and versatile and we're once again proven right. We love how Helena styled it with a red striped sweater for that holiday feel and how she kept her accessories polished and chic.

6. Angela from California

We are more than a wee bit smitten with Angela's Altuzarra skirt. It's a great staple for those women who need more versatility in their wardrobe as this piece can easily go beyond your 9-5 schedule!

This is how you do shades of grey right! We can't get over how cute that flared skirt is and how Cassandra took the pretty level up a notch by wearing a plaid muffler over her outfit.

8. Anna from Russia

Is there really something bad that can be said about a swan-printed skirt? No? We thought so too. Anna looked adorable in this covetable skirt!

9. Alba from Spain

If you have a skirt with this structure, you pretty much can stand there and look fabulous all the time. But Alba made her skirt stand out even more by wearing it with a fuzzy sweater, a pair of ankle boots and a shoulder bag.

10. May from Congo

It's definitely the time to saturate your closet with anything plaid. Take a cue from May who wore it with a green coat and a sweater. We will wear this outfit any day!

Who Looked Best in the Balmain Leopard-Print Skirt?

Late last month we featured Victoria Beckham wearing a leopard printed pencil skirt as she visited her eponymous retail store in London. Just a few months ago, Kim Kardashian wore the exact same skirt to the Vogue Foundation Gala during Couture Fashion Week held at the Palais Galliera in Paris. Who do you think wore it better?

PARTY MAKEUP INSPIRATION

Looking for something fun and different to try this weekend? Why not add a little highlight to your cat eye by calling upon its twin counterpart! You might remember when I did this look on Lauren Conrad back on the red carpet back in 2011 from our Double Liner Story... anyway, it's much more wearable than you might think and it shows you're confidently willing to take chances! Here's how:

TOOLS:

• A Black Gel Liner Pencil
• A White Matte Kohl Pencil
• A Light Rose Gold Powder Eye Shadow
• A Gold Shimmer Cream Eye Shadow
• An Angled Contour Shadow Brush
• An Angled Liner Brush
• A Small Smudge Brush
• Your Favorite Mascara

STEPS:

1. Sweep the dusty opal shadow all over the lid, concentrating on the crease with the shadow brush.
2. Trace the white pencil along the lash line and continue up and outward toward the end of the brow like you typically draw a cat eye.
3. Perfect the tip of the wing with an angled liner brush by dragging the line out a millimeter longer so it's really sharp. If needed, use a Precision Q-tip to clean up any "bobbles" in the line.
4. Now trace the lash line with the black kohl pencil as you would a typical cat eye, copying the shape of the white liner.
5. Again perfect the wing tip and any bobbles with the liner brush or Q-tip. **If you want to really make it dramatic, go back over the black line with a black liquid liner.
6. Rim the inner waterline with the black kohl liner.
7. Smudge the gold shimmer shadow along the lower lash line.
8. Apply two coats of mascara to the upper lash line.
9. Apply two coats of mascara to the lower lash line.
