Melanie Fiona Gets Sexy For "The MF Life" Artwork

Melanie Fiona gets sultry and sexy for the artwork in her new album titled "The MF Life" which is due out in stores on March 20th. The new album will feature collaborations from the likes of B.O.B., J. Cole and John Legend.

Melanie Fiona had this to say about the creative process behind her new album and the work she put into it below:

“Since the release of my first album "The Bridge", I’ve been anticipating how every step of that experience would inspire me on my future projects. So when it was time to go in and start working on "The MF Life", I started raw and nervous… writing and singing about internal emotions and conflicts I had gone through, over that process. I called on some of my dream producers, writers and artists to help me tell those stories. I’m so excited to finally share them with the world. I feel that I’ve grown so much as an artist, a singer, a songwriter, and a woman. I hope once people hear this album, we can continue to grow together.”

Now, check out another sexy photo from Melanie Fiona's photoshoot when you click on that "Read More" button below:

Melanie also commented on winning her first 2 Grammys below:

“If there was an actual word or feeling to describe ‘dreams come true’, this has to be it. When I think back to the day I met Cee Lo and told him I wanted to work with him, I couldn’t have imagined that winning two Grammys would be the outcome.”

I can't wait for Melanie's album to drop!! I'm expecting soo much from her and I'm sure she will deliver!! What are your thoughts?

Po Johnson of La La's "Full Court Life" Does "PYNK" Magazine Spread

One third of La La's entourage, Po Johnson, recently did a photoshoot for "PYNK" magazine where she talks about being an artist, who she's dating....if anybody, her life in front of the cameras and accepting herself for who she is. And although Po comes off as the silly family friend in La La's latest reality show, she does have a life of her own and wants to venture out as a solo artist who can be compared to the likes of Cee-Lo or the group, No Doubt.

However, until her solo career flourishes, Po Johnson exudes extreme diva in her photoshoot for "PYNK" magazine. So I will say the chick is versatile if nothing else. Check out some more photos from Po's photoshoot spread as well as some excerpts from her interview when you click on that "Read More" button below:

On her love life:
"I'm not dating anybody, I'm not seeing anybody, I'm not fucking anybody, I'm not sexting anyone. I am on pause in regards to a relationship zone. I’m very much married to music. I don’t even have the time to be emotionally responsible, and I feel bad, but it is what it is."

On living on camera:
"Once you expose yourself for everyone to see, it's like walking around naked in front of your lover for the first time. Why do you need to be nervous the second and third time?"

On accepting herself:
"You have to be like, “Fuck it, this is me. I like crawfish and crabs. I’m 5'4''. I’m from the south. I had a stuttering problem. And I want to be a fucking artist. My name is Po. Fuck you if you don't like it.” Once you let those inhibitions go, everything else is irrelevant. I owe it to the audience that's watching; I owe it to all those little girls; I owe it to all those people who feel like geeks and weirdos, I owe it to them to let them know that this is cool. You don't have to be a part of the masses. What everyone sees on TV is me celebrating the fact that I've owned that. I'm not going to apologize for who I am, and I'm not going to apologize for who I want to be."

On her music:

"It’s always been funky, but poppy and fun — very much teen angst. Everything I've always wanted to say, I'm going to say it through my music. If you take punk, pop and the streets, and put it together, that's what my stuff sounds like. Think of Cee Lo as a female artist or No Doubt, but a lot more urban.

I am not signed to anybody right now, so I feel like this is a good time for me to be uninhibited. In regards to artistic limitations, I have none. I want to be very honest about who I am. As eccentric, crazy, and out of the box as I am, I'm still very relatable. What's the point of doing it if you're not relating to anybody?"

You gotta love Po's straight forwardness (if that's even a word) and I'm loving the way she's looking in these photos, but what are your thoughts on the pics and interview? You know I'm listening!

Constance Jablonski for Harper’s Bazaar Russia

It's no secret that we love this swimsuit by Dolce & Gabbana, and so does the reading public. Constance Jablonski makes it look fun, too, but fails to answer the question: is the tomato a veg or a fruit?

The cover: Harper's Bazaar Russia March 2012 issue

The model: hotness du jour Constance Jablonski

The set: In studio, tomato-red backdrop

The garb: Spring 2012 swim two-piece by Dolce & Gabbana

The photographer: Natalia Alavardian

The final word: Well if it worked for one glorious model, why not try it again for another cover? Chanel Iman looked fantastic in the Dolce & Gabbana spring collection's fruity-print pieces for L'Officiel, so we're not surprised to see the tomatoes making an appearance here in Russia. Constance, well, she always looks good, so we're happy to take a cheeky wink from her. We love the fun hair- let's go '50s bob!

Gwyneth Paltrow for Boss Nuit Pour Femme

Gwyneth Paltrow hardly needs an (h)airbrushing but she certainly got polished up from wrist to side part in this Hugo Boss Pour Femme fragrance ad. The battle of the LBD'd blondes is on- who wins: Gwyn or the perfume bottle?

The shot: The ad campaign for Boss Nuit Pour Femme fragrance by Hugo Boss

The model: Academy Award winning actress and Goop blogger Gwyneth Paltrow

The set: Our gal wears a black one-shoulder Hugo Boss dress, diminutive pendant earrings and is presumably either in an office tower or lounge at night against a light skyline

The photographer: unknown

The final word: In this Photoshop-aware age we wonder if we are supposed to applaud images that are overtly bathed in soft light, skin smoothed and silhouette super-imposed like a cardboard cut-out. We're not really sure what happened with this Boss ad- was Gwyn photographed on a blue screen in London, presumably too busy whipping up Goop-y concoctions or working on her karaoke falsettos, or is she really on set- an office boardroom, or is it a penthouse living room window- of all places? So bizarre.

In all aspects of Gwyneth, she looks great like she always does but shall we add, slightly stiff upper lipped. Her steady, measured smile is ho-hum just like the boring backdrop: somehow the city lights are lackluster and could have benefited from a little brightener, no? Unless it's all made to look like we're taking the photo of Gwyneth, as in the tag line- "This will be your night" - to meet Gwyn? (presumably since partying in an office boardroom only looks exciting in Mad Men).

Flat on writing and on set, this ad is a lousy competition between the two blondes: Gwyneth and the perfume bottle. At this point, our money's on GP because we are loyal followers of her cross-disciplinary excellence, but let's call it a tight race since that bottle looks might fine in black and aced at getting Gwyn's signature side part.

Take Our Poll

From the horse's mouth: Gwyneth talks about the campaign:

"I was honoured and very happy to be chosen as the face of Boss Nuit Pour Femme," said Gwyneth in May. "To me, the Boss woman is driven, ambitious and goes after what she wants, but she balances being strong and very feminine at the same time - characteristics that I strive toward in my own life."
