Men’s geometric prints: a fall 2014 trend

With fall 2014 ready to introduce graphic & geometric prints as one of the most prominent fashion trends for men, one can already expect a guy's traditional autumn / winter wardrobe to get a little bit of a fun makeover. Count on the subtle splashes of colour, and on the playful juxtaposition of shapes, to ensure all the elements necessary in helping revamp both the classic, and the more modern menswear silhouettes intended for the cold months.

After the break, a closer look at all the squares, circles, triangles and rectangles made to look quirky, or rather sophisticated for fall 2014, plus all the inspiration you'll be needing in order to pull off this trend, without ever having to compromise your personal style.

Rapper The Game Brings Posse and Gold Jewelry to Katsuya

If there is one thing that sets hip-hop and rap artists apart from other artists in the entertainment industry, it is their bling. While most actors and singers would only bust out their gold jewelry for red carpet events, rap artists usually use them as everyday accessories. We wouldn’t be surprised if they slept with their bling on.

Last week, rapper The Game had dinner at Katsuya with his posse. To amp up his clean white outfit, he decided that red sneakers and chunky jewelry were in order. Check out his look:

Do you want to copy The Game’s look without spending all of your life’s savings on one piece of jewelry? We found a very affordable and interesting Medusa chain necklace:

If you want the real deal, here are a few Versace necklaces:

It looks like Medusa chains are huge among rappers. Other artists who have been spotted sporting Medusa necklaces are Chris Brown, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Tyga.

If money comes easy for you, you don’t have to settle for the Versace necklaces we featured above. You can get the chunkiest Medusa head jewelry custom-made.

Check out Tyga’s iced-out necklace that was custom-made for him by Jason of Beverly Hills:

Is that the insanest jewelry you have ever seen? While we would never wear a necklace like that, we do appreciate the work that was put into creating the jewelry. The quote from Gianni Versace that was engraved in Tyga’s necklace was also a nice touch that’s really apt for today’s music royalties: “In the past people were born royal. Nowadays, royalty comes from what you do.”
