Caroline Manzo on Teresa Giudice: "I Haven't Seen Her Since the Reunion"

There's a lot of bad blood between Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice, but that won't stop the former from taking the high road.

"I haven't seen her since the reunion," Manzo, 51, told Us Weekly of her Real Housewives of New Jersey costar, 40, at the Walgreens flagship store opening in L.A. Nov. 30. "It's nice to be able to be civil and say, 'How are you? How are the children?' That's it."

(During the tense, three-part reunion special that aired on Bravo in October, Manzo and Giudice frequently traded cruel insults. "You and your Christmas pageant dress, sit down and shut the f--k up!" Manzo told her costar. Giudice retaliated by shouting, "You have three rolls: Blubber, blubber and blubber!")

Costar Jacqueline Laurita -- who also had a falling out with Giudice during the show's fourth season -- insisted the cast is in a better place with Giudice. "We're big girls," she told Us. "We can coexist."

The pals has just begun filming the fifth season at the Nov. 30 event. "We're about 20 minutes in," Manzo said when asked how the new episodes are progressing. "Your guess is as good as ours!"

Reese Witherspoon is adding to her A-list friend circle.

The Academy Award winner -- whose celebrity BFFs include Chelsea Handler and Robert Pattinson -- shared a meal with sitcom star Mindy Kaling at Tavern Restaurant in L.A.'s Brentwood neighborhood Dec. 1.

The fast friends were seen laughing as they left Witherspoon's favorite restaurant. Before Witherspoon sped off in her own car, the 36-year-old mother of three stopped by a local newsstand to pick up a couple of magazines.

Kaling, 33, has long been a fan of romantic comedies -- Witherspoon's included. During a recent episode of FOX's The Mindy Project (which Kaling created and stars in), the actress' character made a direct reference to Witherspoon's 2005 chick flick Just Like Heaven, costarring Mark Ruffalo.

"Call me Reese Witherspoon, cause I'm going on a date with an architect tonight!" Kaling's character, Dr. Mindy Lahiri, joked.

Witherspoon, meanwhile, has been keeping a low profile since the Sept. 27 arrival of her son Tennessee James (with husband Jim Toth). She next appears in the movies Mud (opposite Matthew McConaughey) and Devil's Knot (opposite Colin Firth), both slated for release in 2013.

Zhang Ziyi is already an international star -- but now she's an international ambassador, too.

The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon actress has been named the new face of Save the Children's initiative with Italian jeweler Bulgari, the two parties said in a statement.

"We are proud to announce that Chinese film actress Zhang Ziyi has been appointed International Ambassador of the successful Bulgari and Save the Children partnership," the organizations revealed, pointing out the star's engagement with "local initiatives aiming to relieve hardship, distress, and sickness in orphaned children in China."

As an International Ambassador, the Memoirs of a Geisha actress "will actively support the Bulgari and Save the Children education projects while being involved in communication activities and field trips all around the world."

Bulgari has contributed more than $20 million to Save the Children since 2009, thanks largely to sales of a special ceramic and silver ring the jeweler created to commemorate the partnership. Proceeds from the bauble have helped fund educational programs in over 20 countries around the world, including Afghanistan, Colombia, Haiti, Japan, and Uganda.

"I am extremely proud to see that our support is having an impact on the lives of some of the most vulnerable children on earth," Bulgari CEO Michael Burke said in the statement, adding that he hoped to take a field trip soon to "personally witness how the generosity of individuals can make a life-changing difference for the most underprivileged."

Zhang Ziyi is in good company as an advocate for the jeweler's work with Save the Children. Among the more than 130 celebs who have also shown their support are Sting, Jessica Biel, Olivia Wilde, Ben Stiller, Isabella Rossellini, and Debra Messing.

Honey Boo Boo's four-wheeling cousin, featured in an episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, was arrested for reckless conduct in McIntyre, Georgia, recently, TMZ reports.

A police officer driving along a Georgia highway around 11 pm says he nearly hit Lindsey -- who was wearing a gorilla suit at the time! -- and swerved off the road in order to avoid colliding with the reality star.

"I observed a white male dressed in a gorilla suit acting as if he was going to jump into my lane of travel," Deupty Joe Rozier explained to TMZ.

The officer got out of his car and reported seeing Lindsey, along with some of his pals, run off into the nearby woods.

Rozier threatened to release his K-9, but said someone from the group of rabble-rousers shouted, "You don't have to do that, we're coming back!"

When the group -- which included five adults and two children -- returned, none of them, mysteriously, had a gorilla suit on. They admitted Lindsey had taken it off and left it in the woods.

It’s been quite the year for 27-year-old J.W. Anderson which has seen him showcase his collection at London Fashion Week thanks to being selected as a NEWGEN recipient, create a fab Topshop collection, and acquire a loyal celebrity following including Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe, and Pixie Geldof. Now, fresh from winning the British Fashion Awards’ Emerging Talent award earlier this week, Donatella Versace has officially released a statement saying that he’s set to design the next Versus capsule collection. So, as we bid a fond farewell to Christopher Kane after 3 years designing Versus, we know that he’s set to be replaced by a designer that is equally as edgy.

Anderson’s Plans for Versus

Anderson has stated that the Versus line exemplifies purity, and explores the relationships between a boy and a girl, a girl and a girl, and a boy and a boy. How will this translate to his designs? A white palette, clean cuts, and an androgynous aesthetic, perhaps? Your guesses are as good as ours, but there’s no doubt that we’re in store for quite the treat.

The collection will feature both women’s and men’s ready-to-wear pieces, as well as accessories, but you’ll have to curb your enthusiasm as the line will not available until next spring.

Again, relaxed yet careful tailoring and silky, breathable fabrics are hallmarks of the designs, with intricate details like a crisp Peter Pan collar doing their duties for the requisite “contemporary twists.” Also, shoes: If your summer brogues aren’t perforated and neon-accented or patent and covered in dreamy florals, don’t even bother.
